Wetnose Day – Friday 29 September – Sunday 1 OCtober 2017

Once again we’re raising awareness and funds for Wetnose Day with Wetnose staff selfies, a raffle (for both animals and humans) and a Pose With A Nose stand – your chance to strike a pose, in a wetnose, with your four-legged friend to make us all laugh.

Wetnose Animal Aid is raising funds that will be given to struggling Animal Rescue Centres to help pay off vets bills, buying equipment or animal feed which would go a long way to helping them in their day to day invaluable work. These Rescue Centres are experiencing a marked downturn in donations, but a noticeable increase in animals being ‘dumped’ on them, as owners continue for various reasons not to be able to keep their animals. That equation does not balance, and therefore this Wetnose Day is an important event to help raise serious levels of funds to get the balance back.

Local charities which have benefitted from Wetnose Aid include Hula, Stokenchurch Dog Rescue, Aylesbury Cat Rescue and Paddy Paws.

Thame Food Festival – Friday 29 September – Sunday 1 OCtober 2017

You can view the image on the day and order a 10 x 8 print for just £15. Alternately get 20% off a photo shoot booked during the weekend and come into the Aylesbury studio for an hour’s session, and any special effects you want, to get the pawfect pawtrait of your loved ones.

Halloween Hijinks – Friday 29-Saturday 30 October 2016

After the success of Wetnose Day, we’re recreating some of the fun for Halloween while fundraising for Florence Nightingale Hospice. The Florence Nightingale Hospice has been our chosen charity of the year for 2016 and this event will add towards the total raised through dog shows, collection tins and other events.

The aim of Florence Nightingale Hospice is to provide a first class specialist palliative care service which is accessible and free of charge to those with a life-limiting illness. Hospice care is all about the person being more than a patient and finding ways to improve quality of life through symptom control, pain relief, emotional and spiritual support. Families and close friends are also involved as they are often central to the well-being of those in our care.

Bowen in Motion taster day – Saturday 1 October 2016

Come and find out more about how Bowen in Motion works and try a 15 minute taster session for just £10.

The Bowen Fascial Release Technique is a remedial hands-on therapy that is applied using very gentle pressure. A series of precise rolling moves over muscle are undertaken which cause the brain to respond and assess the reaction required throughout the nervous system. This occurs during the short breaks during the treatment, to allow the body to respond, rebalance, and relieve pain and tension. No manipulation of hard tissue or force is used.

By addressing the tension in the structure of the body and treating the body as a whole, clients have seen reduction in severity and frequency of IBS, reduction and cessation of shoulder, neck, back, knee, ankle, leg, arm, elbow and wrist pain. Clients with headaches, migraines, cluster headaches, RSI, tennis elbow, hay fever, asthma, facial pain and sleep issues have also shown significant improvements in their level and frequency of pain.

Peter Crabb is a qualified Bowen Fascial Release Technique practitioner, having studied through the College of Bowen Studies. He is fully insured, a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies, and has recently undertaken a practical 5-day human dissection course, to enhance his knowledge of anatomy and fascial layers.

To book a taster session call 07956 892604 or email peter@boweninmotion.co.uk www.boweninmotion.co.uk
